I wanted to share this photo with you from a recent wedding. As a father (of two daughters) life travels very fast and it seems to always come down to the little things that makes it so special. My job is to capture these moments and freeze them in time so life can slow down and make us notice just how beautiful it is! Happy Valentine’s Day !…Jamie and Annie-Love You, Dad.

2012 started off great and extremely cold (+2° wind chill) but my number 1 assistant (Annie) braved the frigid air to help create this dynamic image for Nucor Steel’s tribute to its veterans. FYI-The eagle has about a seven foot wing-span and was commissioned for the plant. The image was lit with portable  lighting to add a little artistic license. Annie was a human light stand and didn’t complain (much), She compared our endeavor to the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima… BUT MUCH COLDER. The wind gusts were over 45mph. Hope you all like it!-bj

We had the opportunity to spend the day with a up and coming local musician, Jason Bertrand. Jason & The Haymakers will be appearing at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday, May 7th for their highly anticipated release of their album, “Home.”.
